Electronics Recycling Offered Saturday In Bradford
1 min readAnother electronics recycling event is planned for Saturday, June 23, at the Bradford Recycling Center on High Street, sponsored by Pennsylvania Cleanways of McKean County. From 9 am to noon, the center will accept computers, accessories, televisions and other electronic devices at no cost. Exceptions are fluorescent light bulbs, collected at $1.00 each, and freon-containing appliances at $15 each.
JVS Environmental of Somerset County will collect the electronics and disassemble them for recycling of their components. Registration is not required, but anyone planning to bring bulk loads to the center on June 23 is asked to contact Jim Clark at Penn State Extension in Smethport by phone or by email at jac20@psu.edu.
