Elizabeth K. McCarthy, 100, of Bradford, passed away on Saturday, December 11, 2010 at the Pavilion at BRMC.

She was born on March 8, 1910 in Bradford, a daughter of the late George and Anna Reimann Ungemah.

She was married to Charles R. McCarthy who preceded her in death in June, 2005. She was also previously married to Jack D. McCutcheon who passed away in April, 1983.

She was an avid animal lover and a talented card player who belonged to many local Bridge clubs.

She is survived by two daughters, Jackie Cordner, Bradford, Barbara Born, Encinitas, CA, four grandsons, Jack Cordner, Tom (Melanie) Abbott, both of Bradford, Brian (Dee) Born, Long Branch, WA, Scott Cordner, Big Bear, CA, three granddaughters, Deborah (Christian) Ramos, Nolensville, TN, Karen (Bill) Quigg, Reading, Holly Born, Viroqua, WI, four great grandsons, Casey, Michael, David, Steven, one great granddaughter, Katie, one great great-grandson, Aiden, and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents and husbands she was also preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

At the family’s request private funeral services will be held at their convenience.

Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.

Memorial contributions in her memory can be made to the McKean County SPCA, P.O. Box 113, Bradford.
