Elk Catholic Golf Coach Busted in Florida Prostitution Sting

A St. Marys man was arrested in a prostitution sting February 23 in Bonita Springs, Florida. The Lee County Sheriff’s Department says 64 year old John Vollmer, the golf coach at Elk Catholic High School, was charged with solicitation of prostitution and lewdness. Vollmer is free on bond and must appear in Lee County Court on March 15.
