WILCOX, Pa. — State police say they are now investigating 39 burglaries at seasonal camps in north central Pennsylvania, and believe the same person or persons might be behind all of the break-ins.
State police in Ridgway, Elk County, last week said they were investigating break-ins at 16 hunting or summer camps that are in especially isolated areas of Elk and Cameron counties since Dec. 22.
Now police say the number of break-ins has risen to 39 — including 18 more on Jan. 6 and 7 alone.
