Emergency Landing Zone Training Class Monday

ULYSSES – Emergency responders are encouraged to attend a landing zone operations class to be held on Monday (June 14) at the Tri-Town Fire Station in Ulysses. Training gets underway at 6:30 pm. Weather permitting, a medical helicopter based in Hornell, N. Y., is due to arrive at 8. Refreshments will be available. Those planning to attend should call the Potter County Department of Emergency Services at 274-8900. Life Net of New York opened an EMS helicopter base at Hornell in April. Its aircraft are staffed by an EMS pilot, flight nurse and flight paramedic team.
