Police say 44-year-old Robin G. Hammersley, of Emporium, was traveling north on Route 872 when she encountered a patch of frozen water runoff across the roadway.
Hammersley subsequently lost control of her 2004 Chevrolet Tahoe, at which point it spun in a clockwise direction, traveled over the west embankment and rolled onto the passenger-side door, ultimately striking a utility pole and coming to rest.
Hammersley, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was trapped inside her vehicle and required extrication by Austin Fire personnel.
She was transported to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital for treatment of unknown injuries.
Police say she will not be charged, as the crash was the result of environmental factors.
