Environmental Polluters to be Sentenced
1 min readJohn Morgan and Michael Evans from Swamp Angel Energy pleaded guilty to charges of ordering workers to secretly and illegally dump 200,000 gallons of brine wastewater into two wells in Allegheny National Forest in February.
They are charged with violations of the Safe Water Drinking Act, and will be sentenced this morning.
They face up to 3 years in prison and a fine of up to $250,000.
