EOG to Resume Drilling at Punxsy Hunt Club

PUNXSUTAWNEY – EOG Resources has been given the green light to resume operations at two gas wells near the Punxsutawney Hunt Club, a week after one of their wells ruptured and spewed natural gas into the air for more than 16 hours.

According to the DEP there are no environmental or operational violations at those sites.

EOG Resources still has many wells that remain idle.  The DEP investigation into the gas well blowout will continue as they partially resume operations.
