Ex-PA Legislative Aide Pleads Guilty to Sex Chats

HARRISBURG – A longtime Pennsylvania legislative aide has admitted propositioning a teenage boy online.

Forty-one-year-old Alan David Berlin pleaded guilty to three felony counts involving illegal online contact with a minor on Tuesday, just before he was scheduled to go to trial.

Berlin had worked in the state Senate for about a decade, most recently for Sen. Jane Orie of Allegheny County.
