Farmers Market Operating Today Until 6 PM
1 min readPotter County Farmers Market is today (Friday, Aug. 24) on the courthouse square in Coudersport from 2-6 pm. Offerings include locally grown vegetables and fruits, along with specialty products. Market organizers report that today’s featured items are as follows:
–Miles Farm Produce: squash, onions , beets, leeks, cucumbers, tomatoes and pie pumpkins.
–Wooleylot Farm: zucchini, garlic bulbs, shallots, fingerling potatoes, Delicata winter squash, wax beans and (new to the market) alpaca yarn from Stu and Tracie Gordnier’s Alpaca Farm.
–Card Creek Trading Post: lemon raspberry cookies, made with raspberries from McKeone Farm; biscotti made with dried cherries; assortment of scones and artisan breads; garden-fresh cole slaw and fresh brown eggs.
–Metzger Heritage Farm: large selection of organic potatoes (red, yellow, purple, blue, white) with many tastes and textures, tomatoes, beet greens, beets, hot peppers, onions, lettuce, sunflowers.
