Man killed in fatal accident outside Eldred Saturday

ELDRED – Millard B. Keesler, 60, of Delevan, NY, died Saturday as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Route 346, just west of Eldred Township.

Keesler was operating a 2001 Ford Ranger eastbound on Prentisvale Road, when for an unknown reason he crossed the center line and collided head-on with a 2006 GMC Envoy driven by Richard J. Mulaski, 67, of Port Allegany.

Mulaski, and his passenger, Sheila M. Mulaski, 54, of Port Allegany, suffered moderate injuries and were transported to Olean General Hospital.

Keesler was pronounced dead at the scene by McKean County Coroner Michael Cahill.

All three victims were wearing safety belts.
