Fatal crash Wednesday in Tioga County

A 60-year-old Canton, Pa., resident was killed Wednesday afternoon when the Silverado he was a passenger in went off the road, went airborne and rolled.
Leslie Layser was pinned under the truck and declared dead at the scene, near 1268 Morris Run Road in Hamilton Township, Tioga County, Pa.

Correction – Les Layser was a man, and a fine one at that. Former resident of Mt. Carmel and Hamburg, PA
I never met Les in person, but over the last many years, we shared much about our lives with one another. I just found out yesterday of Les’ tragic death by checking online for I’d had no response to emails sent his direction recently and it was very uncharacteristic of him not to reply quickly.
I miss my dear friend, and I sense what those who are especially close to him may be going through.
