Festival of Lights Winners

Here are the winners of the tree decorating contest from the Festival of Lights in Coudersport, sponsored by the Coudersport Area Chamber of Commerce.

Youth Category: Daisy Troop 2198, first; Brownie Troop 20736, second; Brownie Troop 20264, third.

Organizations/Businesses: Gauld Corner Store, first; Northwest Savings Bank, second; Sweden Valley Manor, third.

Family Category: Conn-Hamilton family, first; Taylor family, second; Watson family, third.

Thanks are extended to all who helped to make Friday evening’s festivities a success including Northwest Savings Bank, Hotel Crittenden and Sweden Valley Manor for the refreshments, the Coudersport Volunteer Fire Department for transporting Santa Claus and Pete Wyatt whose special connections with the North Pole brought Santa Claus to town.

Special appreciation goes to the choristers from Second Chances and North Country Voices for the lovely Christmas music.
