Five Dead in Altoona Fire this Morning

ALTOONA – Five people died in an apartment fire in Altoona on Tuesday morning.
The fire started at about 6:45 a.m. in at a duplex at 1604 18th avenue. Firefighters arrived within seconds of the initial call. Their station is right down the street.
Deputy Fire Chief Tim Hileman said his men entered the house and found 5 people already dead.
