…SIGNIFICANT RAINFALL POSSIBLE OVER WESTERN PENNSYLVANIA…

.HEAVY SHOWERS AND THUNDERSTORMS ARE EXPECTED TO FORM TONIGHT AND
EARLY SUNDAY NEAR A WARM FRONT DRAPED ACROSS NORTHWEST
PENNSYLVANIA. THE RAINFALL COULD BE HEAVY ENOUGH IN SOME SPOTS TO
RESULT IN LOCALIZED FLASH FLOODING.
...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING...
* RAINFALL AMOUNTS BETWEEN 1 AND 3 INCHES ARE POSSIBLE ACROSS THE
WATCH AREA THROUGH SUNDAY MORNING. THE POTENTIALLY EXCESSIVE
RAINFALL RATES COULD CAUSE RAPID RISES ON AREA RIVERS AND
STREAMS. LOW LYING AND POOR DRAINAGE AREAS COULD ALSO BE
SUSCEPTIBLE TO FLASH FLOODING.

A FLASH FLOOD WATCH MEANS THAT CONDITIONS MAY DEVELOP THAT LEAD TO FLASH FLOODING. FLASH FLOODING IS A VERY DANGEROUS SITUATION. YOU SHOULD MONITOR LATER FORECASTS AND BE PREPARED TO TAKE ACTION SHOULD FLASH FLOOD WARNINGS BE ISSUED
