Former Publisher of Salamanca Press Sentenced for Tax Fraud
1 min readBUFFALO, NY – Salamanca businessman and former publisher of the Salamanca Press, 59-year-old Lloyd Long, has been sentenced on charges of conspiracy to commit mail fraud and failing to file an income tax return.
Long was sentenced to one year of electronic monitoring and 5 years of probation. He was also ordered to pay $1,380,000 in restitution to five states that lost revenue.
Long was convicted of using a Native American to purchase cigarettes, before reselling them.
