Four Charged for Breaking Car Window

ULYSSES – Four people face criminal mischief charges after they broke the rear window of a woman’s vehicle while she was driving east on Route 49 last Thursday, January 20 at 11:00 pm.

State Police say Dustin Erskine, 22, of Emporium, Christopher Grovanz, 31, of Emporium, Joshue Catalone, 28, of Emporium, and Jessica Kline, 22, of Hummelstown, PA, passed a vehicle driven by 24-year-old Melania Stout, of Mansfield, PA, and broke the rear window of her vehicle while passing.

Then four then turned around, and fled in the other direction.

Police say they determined the four accused to be in, or driving, the vehicle that passed Stout and smashed her rear window.

Police are not sure what type of object was used to break the window.
