2 min readFrank G. Mack, 70, of 95 East Warren Road, passed away, Monday, March 28th, 2011 at his residence.
Born November 12, 1940, in DuBois, he was a son of the late Floyd V. and Beatrice A. (G’danitz) Mack.
On June 6, 1964 in Kane he married Betty Garris Mack who survives.
Mr. Mack was a 1959 graduate of Bradford High School.
On April 19, 1962, he enlisted in the United States Marine Corp., severed during Vietnam and was honorably discharged August 18, 1966. He was a member of the America Legion, VFW, and Eagles Clubs, the Bob Swanson Detachment #1102 of Marine Corp League in Mt. Jewett.
He was employed as a caddie at the Pennhills Club then Airco Speer from 1962 to 1969 later Owens Illinois and he retired from Georgia Pacific.
In addition to his wife he is survived by two daughters, Deborah (Mark) Smith and Diana (Jerry Berkhouse) Mosher all of Bradford, two sisters, Beverly E. (Rodney) Hauck of Smethport and Sandra J. Mack of Bradford, a brother, Floyd “Skip” (Janet Eimer) Mack of Cyclone, three grandsons, Robert Mosher, Zachary Smith, and Evan Smith, one granddaughter, Aubrie Smith and several; nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother Vernon “Gene” Mack, who died October 12, 2010.
Family will be receiving friends on Wednesday, March 30, 2011, from 3 to 5 & 7 to 9pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. South Ave. and again on Thursday, March 31st from 10:00 to 11:00 Am in the Evans Memorial United Methodist Church were funeral and committal services will be held at 11:00am following the service Military Honors will be accorded at the church. Burial will be in Willow Dale Cemetery.
