1 min readFrank R. SHARP, 80, of Westfield, PA, died Tuesday, May 3, 2011 in the Soldiers and Sailors Memorial Hospital, Wellsboro, PA.
Born February 13, 1931, in Binghamton, NY, he was the son of Melvin and Lillian Knapp Sharp.
On September 18, 1950, in Harrison Valley, PA, he married the former Amy Ann Houghtaling, who survives.
He was employed by the Eberle and Westfield Tanneries for many years.
Surviving besides his wife, Amy, are: two sons, Brett (Linda) Sharp of Galeton, PA and Bradley (Becky) Sharp of Middlebury Center, PA; a daughter, Lori (Dean) Cary of Cowanesque, PA; ten grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; a brother, Carl Sharp of Corning, NY; a sister, Nikki Garcia of Modesto, CA; and nieces and nephews.
He was predeceased by an infant son, Barry Sharp; two grandsons, Daniel Sharp and Bradley Sharp, Jr.; and six siblings.
Friends may call Friday, May 6, 2011 from 6:00 – 8:00 PM at the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Saturday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Duane Burdick will officiate. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery, Potter Brook, PA.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to a charity of the donor’s choice.
