Free Tax Counseling Wednesday At Coudersport Senior Center

A final free tax counseling and preparation session for Pennsylvania taxpayers with low and moderate incomes – particularly those age 60 and older — will by held by AARP tax aides on Wednesday, March 30, from 9 am and 2 pm at the Coudersport Senior Center. Help is available for personal income tax returns (federal, state, local) and property tax/rent rebates. Anyone planning to attend should call 274-7887 for an appointment. Those using this free service are asked to bring documents and records, such as Social Security card, a copy of last year’s return, W-2 forms, unemployment compensation statements, receipts, canceled checks and rent/property tax receipts.
