FRIENDSHIP – Two people who were just moving into a home on County Route 20 lost their new home Sunday, Friendship firefighters report.
Firefighters were dispatched to the Donald Besser residence, 7660 County Route 20, at about 1:30 a.m. They found the structure fully engulfed, said Fire Chief Todd Hadsell. He said firefighters were back in service by about 4:30 a.m.
Hadsell said Besser and his wife, whose name was not available, had recently bought the home. Both were there when the fire started, but they got out of the house uninjured, he said.
