Galeton Man Jailed on Felony Firearm Charge
1 min readGALETON – A Galeton man has been jailed on charges that he illegally possessed a firearm.
Coudersport-based State Police charged 40-year-old John S. Malaczewski, of 221 Blass Hollow Road, Galeton, with felony possession of a firearm.
Police say Malaczewski, a convicted felon prohibited from possessing firearms, had several in his possession.
He was arraigned in front of District Judge Delores G. Bristol and remanded to the Potter County jail in lieu of $10,000 bail.
A Preliminary Hearing has been scheduled for February 10 at 11:00 am.
