Galeton Woman Escapes Injury in Route 44 Crash
1 min readABBOTT TWP. – A Galeton woman escaped injury after the pickup truck she was driving hit a snow bank and rolled onto it’s side early Friday morning.
State Police say 58-year-old Sharon M. Rawson was driving north on Route 44 when she lost control of her 2000 Ford Ranger. Rawson’s truck then traveled across the southbound lane and up a snow bank before rolling onto the passenger’s side and sliding down the road.
Rawson, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, was not injured.
As a result of the crash Rawson faces charges for not staying in her lane.
