Galeton Woman Gets Jail for Identity Theft
1 min readCOUDERSPORT – A Galeton woman has been sentenced to jail in Potter County court after pleading guilty to two felony counts and one misdemeanor count of Identity Theft.
Brittany D. Burrous, 30, of Galeton, was sentenced in Judge Stephen Minor’s courtroom to a total of 11 1/2 to 23 1/2 months in jail. Burrous was also sentenced to 12 months of probation, which will take effect after her jail sentence is complete.
In addition to probation and jail time, Burrous was ordered to pay a total of $900 in fines, perform 50 hours of community service, pay restitution and reimburse the District Attorney, as well as submit to drug and alcohol testing and complete a victim impact panel presentation.
