Galeton Woman Suffered Minor Injuries after Rolling Minivan
1 min readHECTOR TWP. – A Galeton woman was taken by ambulance to Charles Cole Memorial Hospital for treatment of minor injuries after an accident on Loucks Mills Road early this evening.
Police say 19-year-old Jacqueline Marble was driving north when she lost control of her 2002 Ford Windstar on the slush-covered road. The accident happened after Marble was unable to steer out of the slush, instead traveling across the southbound lane and hitting an embankment before rolling over and coming to rest in the road.
Marble, who was wearing a seatbelt at the time of the crash, suffered minor injuries and was transported to Charles Cole for treatment.
Her van suffered major damage and was towed from the scene by Gaines Garage.
Galeton Fire Department and Fire Police assisted PSP at the scene.
