Gas Stolen from Genesee Acorn Market

GENESEE – State Police say they are investigating a theft that occurred at the Genesee Acorn Market on Thursday, May 19 at approximately 1:35 pm.

Police say a man described as white, with short dark hair, a beard and slim build, pumped over 20 gallons of gas valued at $80.96, and then fled without paying for the fuel.

Police believe the man may be driving a large Chevrolet SUV, possibly a Tahoe, blue in color, with New York registration. The truck was also described as having damage to the front-end on the driver’s side.

The SUV was last seen driving north on Route 449.

An investigation into the matter continues.

Police are asking anyone who may have information regarding the incident to contact them by calling 814-274-8690.

  1. I thought the pumps at the gas stations there (& just about everywhere else) were prepay inside, or at the pump with a valid card. So how would he have pulled that one off?
