Gertrude Chrosniak, 95, of Coudersport, PA

Gertrude CHROSNIAK, 95, of Coudersport, PA, formerly of Buffalo, NY, died Sunday, September 11, 2011 in Cole Manor, Coudersport, PA.

Born June 25, 1916, in Buffalo, NY, she was the daughter of Adam and Maryja Wisnieska Meder.

On October 18, 1933, she married Henry A. Chrosniak in Buffalo, NY, who predeceased her on March 19, 1994.

She attended St. Eulalia Catholic Church in Coudersport, PA.

Surviving are:  a son, Leonard (Marilyn) Chrosniak of Florida;  nine grandchildren including, Karen (Patrick) Larsen of Coudersport, Michele (Mark) Farber of Getzville, NY, and Douglas (Kathy) Chrosniak of Florida;  several great-grandchildren;  a daughter-in-law, Judith (Jeffrey) Maciejewski of Naples, FL;  and a sister, Regina Stepa of Buffalo, NY.

In addition to her husband, she was predeceased by a son, Henry A. Chrosniak, II in 1981.

A Memorial Mass will be celebrated 11:00 AM, Friday, September 16, 2011 in St. Eulalia Catholic Church, Coudersport, PA.  The Rev. James C. Campbell will be the Celebrant.  Burial will be in St. Eulalia Cemetery, Coudersport.
