Harrisburg – Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all U.S. and Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Lawrence County to fly at half-staff on Saturday, June 11, in honor of U.S. Army Staff Sgt. Edward Mills Jr.
Staff Sgt. Mills, of New Castle, was killed in action in Afghanistan on May 26. He was a member of the U.S. Army 4th Battalion, 101st Aviation Regiment, 159th Combat Aviation Brigade, 101st Airborne Division (Air Assault), based in Fort Campbell, Ky.
