Governor Orders Flags at Half Staff in Honor of Slain Police Officer
1 min readHARRISBURG – Governor Tom Corbett today ordered all Pennsylvania flags in the Capitol Complex and at commonwealth facilities in Washington County to fly at half staff to honor East Washington Police Officer John David Dryer.
Dryer, 46, died shortly after a traffic-stop shooting along Interstate 70 late Sunday.
Corbett’s order will remain in effect until the date of Dryer’s burial. All Pennsylvania residents are invited to join in the flag tribute.
