Born February 24, 1940, in Rochester, NY, he was the son of Basil H. and Anna E. Richardson Freeborn.
On January 15, 1966, in Whites Corners, he married the former Sharon Williams, who survives.
He was employed by Ingersoll-Rand in Painted-Post, NY, Worthington in Wellsville, NY, Pure Carbon in Coudersport, Eberle Tannery in Westfield, and retired from Air Preheater in Wellsville.
Surviving besides his wife, Sharon, are: three sons, Harry (Theresa) Freeborn, Jr. of Rexville, NY, James (Jeanine) Freeborn of Harrison Valley, and Robert (Jill) Freeborn of Edmonton, WA; three daughters, Tammy (Jeff) Brown, Reva (Eric) Baldwin, and Rita (Luke) Reisinger, all of Harrison Valley; 16 grandchildren; and a brother, Richie Richardson of Hornell, NY.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by two brothers, Harold Freeborn and Robert D. Richardson; and a sister, Nellie Lamphier.
Friends may call Sunday, January 16, 2011 from 3:00 – 5:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Harrison Valley, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 11:00 AM. The Rev. Timothy H. Miller, Pastor, will officiate. Burial will be inWhites Corners Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Christian & Missionary Alliance Church, Harrison Valley, PA 16927.
