Help Available Tuesday For Veterans Facing Hardships

Bath VA Medical Center is holding a Veterans Economic Hardship and Homelessness Assistance Stand Down on Tuesday, Feb. 14, from 9:30 am to noon at Coudersport American Legion Post 192. A similar event will be held from 1:00 pm to 3:30 pm at the Westfield Community Center. Veterans who are facing severe economic hardship, housing issues or need help accessing health care are encouraged to attend. Personal hygiene supplies, military surplus (blankets, boots, coats, sleeping bags) and other items will be distributed, while supplies last. For more information, call 607-664-4319.
