Hit and Run in Costello
1 min readSYLVANIA TWP. – State Police report that they are investigating a Hit-and-Run incident that occurred on Sunday, November 14 just after midnight at the Old Tannery in the Village of Costello.
Police say an unknown vehicle, believed to be a small extended cab pickup truck, struck a 2004 Chevrolet Trailblazer belonging to Angel L. Rees, 38, of Austin, PA, while backing up in the parking lot of the Old Tannery.
Rees’s Trailblazer, which was legally parked, was struck and suffered damage to the driver’s side quarter-panel. The driver of the vehicle fled the scene without making notifying the victim as required by law.
The vehicle at fault is being classified as a small, late model, foreign pickup truck, and silver in color.
