Hunter Convicted of Shooting School Bus
1 min readRANDOLPH, N.Y. – A hunter who shot a bullet across a highway, striking a school bus, has been found guilty of all counts lodged against him.
William D. Squire was found guilty by a jury of criminal mischief, reckless endangerment and environmental conservation charges. Squire was charged in 2011 after firing the shot from his private property and striking a Randolph school bus. At the time there were 35 students aboard. The bullet barely missed the driver.
Squire will be sentenced in September, according to court documents.
