Ice Possibly to Blame for Train Car Derailment in Port Allegany
1 min readBRADFORD – According to WESB NewsRaddio, three train cars went off the tracks Saturday afternoon near the Arnold Avenue crossing in Port Allegany.
Port Allegany police closed West Avenue and Pear Street while crews worked to get the cars back on track.
Firefighters believe the cars were derailed due to ice buildup on the tracks.
