Intro Course to GPS and Geocaching
1 min readBRADFORD – The University of Pittsburgh at Bradford will hold two GPS and geocaching courses.
Both courses will meet at Kinzua Bridge State Park Pavilion, four miles north of U.S. 6 in Mount Jewett. Age-appropriate courses will feature lessons on using GPS as well as a mild 1.5-mile geocaching treasure hunt. Participants are asked to wear comfortable walking shoes and bring lunch. Water will be provided.
The first course, for children ages 7 to 12 registered with an adult, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 11.
The second course, for adults 16 and older, will take place from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on June 18.
