2 min readJamie L. Stewart, 58, of 826 Interstate Parkway, passed away Friday, March 25th, 2011 at St. Vincent’s Hospital in Erie.
Born April 17, 1952, in Bradford, she was a daughter of the late James A. Bullock and Nancy (McFadden-Bullock) Thompson of Bradford who survives.
On September 12, 1975 in Arlington VA. she married James R. Stewart who died January 21, 2011.
Mrs. Stewart was a graduate of Bradford High School. She worked as an EMT in Foster Township for several years and then later as a home healthcare aide. She had volunteered at the Bradford Ecumenical Home helping with arts and crafts. She was a member of the Bolivar Drive Baptist Church.
Surviving in addition to her mother are two daughters, Kristie Stewart (Bill) McWilliams, and Gabrielle Stewart all of Bradford, a son, David Allen Stewart of Olean, NY, a step daughter, Heidi Stewart (the late Bob) Bilz of Buffalo, NY, a sister, Jackie Bullock of Eldred, three grandchildren, two step grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her father, husband, a daughter, Amie Joyce Mitchell who died January 1, 1997 and an infant son.
Family will be receiving friends on Monday, March 28, 2011 from 1 to 3 & 6 to 8pm in the Hollenbeck-Cahill Funeral Homes, Inc. South Ave. where funeral and committal services will be held at 8:00pm with Pastor Mike McAvoy, pastor of the Open Arms Community Church officiating.
