Jeffers Sentenced on Escape Charges
1 min readCOUDERSPORT – A Potter County Jail inmate who escaped custody last year, has been sentenced in a Potter County court.
Andrew S. Jeffers, 19, of Ulysses, PA, was sentenced to a term of 10 – 24 months incarceration on one count of Escape(F3).
Jeffers was also sentenced to a consecutive term of 9 – 24 months in state prison for two counts of Burglary(F2) and one count of Theft By Unlawful Taking(F3).
Jeffers was originally jailed on charges he stole several ATVs and other items from the Ulysses area.
Jeffers was granted time served, and Judge Stephen Minor strongly recommended he be granted admission into a Boot Camp program.
The case was prosecuted by the Potter County District Attorney’s Office. Jeffers was represented by Public Defender Brent Petrosky. Judge Stephen Minor heard the case.
