Jones Crashes

Investigator Jeffrey Giarth of the Mansfield PSP reports on a crash that took place on 4-1-12 at 0540 hours on Highway 6 at its intersection with State Highway 660.  Gregory Jones II, 29, of Pittsburgh, PA was driving his 2002 Chevrolet Trailblazer east on SR6 when he lost control while attempting to turn south onto SR 660.  The vehicle crossed the south berm and struck a ditch, then continued south along the west berm of SR 660 and struck another ditch.  It came to final rest along the west berm of SR660 facing south.  Jones was not injured; he was wearing his safety belt.  He will be charged with PAVC3309 Driving on Roadways Laned For Traffic.
