Judge Denies ‘HIV Predator’ Request
1 min readA judge today denied a motion by “HIV Predator” Nushawn Williams to reverse a prior plea of guilty.
Williams was dubbed by media outlets as the “HIV Predator” after he spread the HIV virus to women in the New York Southern Tier in the late 1990’s.
Williams has already served his sentence, but remains behind bars under a civil order.
His motion last week claimed that he was forced to take a plea deal, claiming that his rights were violated in the process.
Prosecutors have vowed to do all they can to keep Williams behind bars.
