* LOCATION…NORTHWEST MOUNTAINS.

* ACCUMULATIONS…8 TO 12 INCHES POSSIBLE.

* TIMING…A PROLONGED PERIOD OF LAKE EFFECT SNOW SHOWERS WILL BEGIN DURING THE DAY SUNDAY AND CONTINUE THROUGH MID WEEK.

* WINDS…WEST TO NORTHWEST WINDS 15 TO 20 MPH WITH GUSTS BETWEEN 25 TO 35 MPH.

* IMPACTS…SNOW COVERED ROADS AND HAZARDOUS TRAVEL. LOW VISIBILITIES DUE TO OCCASIONAL HEAVY SNOW.

* TEMPERATURES…UPPER TEENS TO MID 20S WITH WIND CHILLS IN THE SINGLE DIGITS NEAR ZERO. PRECAUTIONARY/PREPAREDNESS ACTIONS… A LAKE EFFECT SNOW WATCH MEANS THERE IS A POTENTIAL FOR SIGNIFICANT LAKE EFFECT SNOW IN PARTS OF THE AREA IN THE NEXT 36 TO 48 HOURS.
