Legislation Would Limit Number of Passengers for Teen Drivers

Reducing the number of fatalities among teenage drivers in Pennsylvania is the aim of legislation introduced this week in Harrisburg.
Rep. Kathy Watson (R-Bucks), chair of the House Transportation Safety Subcommittee, unveiled legislation that calls for an increase in the hours of behind the wheel training required for teens and a reduction in the number of passengers allowed in vehicles operated by those holding a junior driver’s license.
