Lena G. Watson

Lena G. WATSON, 83, of Sweden Valley, PA, died Monday, April 16, 2012 in her home.  Born January 11, 1929, in Galeton, PA, she was the daughter of George H. and Lucinda Johnston Ludwig.  On March 30, 1947, in Prouty, PA, she married Paul E. Watson, who survives.  She worked at Ulysses Lumber with her husband and sons for 30 years.  Lena was a member of the Gospel Tabernacle in Coudersport.  Surviving besides her husband, Paul, are:  four sons, Craig (Judy) Watson of West Bingham, PA, Dennis Watson of Belmont, NY, Timothy (Susan) Watson of Sweden Valley, and Douglas (Julie) Watson of Couderpsort;  18 grandchildren;  many great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren;  and nieces and nephews.  She was predeceased by great-grandson, Tucker Watson;  five brothers;  and four sisters.  Friends may call Thursday, April 19, 2012 from 2:00 – 4:00 and 7:00 – 9:00 PM at the Gospel Tabernacle, Coudersport, PA, where Funeral Services will be held on Friday at 11:00 AM.  The Rev. David Minor will officiate.  Burial will be in Summit (Watson—Reed) Cemetery, Coudersport, PA.  In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Gospel Tabernacle, Coudersport, PA 16915 or a charity of the donor’s choice.  Arrangements are entrusted to the Olney Funeral Home & Cremation Service, Ulysses, PA.  Online condolences may be expressed atwww.olneyfuneralhome.com.
