Lewis Run Man Faces New Charges
A Lewis Run man, Ray COAST, is facing a significant increase in bail to $3 million following a preliminary hearing in front of Magisterial District Judge David Engman. The hearing was held in relation to charges of sex crimes, including rape, child pornography, and other related offenses. The investigation, led by Trooper Richard Obermeyer, has resulted in the addition of 270 new counts of sex crimes, comprising 90 counts of rape, 90 counts of involuntary deviate sexual intercourse, and 90 counts of aggravated indecent assault.
The Commonwealth’s decision to add these new charges underscores the severity of the allegations against COAST. Furthermore, a separate complaint has been filed against him for stalking. The Pennsylvania State Police are urging anyone with information regarding these incidents to come forward and contact them at (814) 368-9230 or 911. This development highlights the importance of community involvement in bringing perpetrators of sex crimes to justice.
