Long Encourages Attendance at Thompson Bus Tour

Potter County Republican Chairman, Carl Long, encourages all county residents to attend the Glenn Thompson Bus Tour scheduled to stop at Kaytee’s Family Restaurant (formerly Erway’s Family Restaurant), located along Route 6 in Coudersport, on Wednesday, February 22nd.

According to Long, the Thompson Bus Pictured above: Carl & Betsy Long, Thad Stevens, Doug Morley, GT & Penny Thompson, Dave Errick, Otto Orszagh, Dave & Annette Buckler Tour will make 20 stops along the 700+ mile tour extending through various regions of the US Congressman’s District (5th Congressional District). The Potter County stop will be held at Kaytee’s at 5:00 p.m. this Wednesday, February 22nd.

“It is important that our County’s residents view visits like this as an opportunity to meet and influence officials like Congressman Glenn Thompson, who are responsible for representing our local needs and concerns on the federal level.”

Congressman Glenn ‘GT’ Thompson is a life-long resident of Howard Township, Centre County, who was first elected to represent Pennsylvania’s 5th Congressional District in the U.S. House of Representatives on November 4, 2008 and he was recently sworn in to his second term on January 5, 2011.
