Mailbox Vandalism Continues

SHINGLEHOUSE – State Police are investigating yet another instance of mailbox vandalism.

Police say at approximately 1:30 am on August 8, unknown actor(s) arrived  in a dark colored SUV at 1972 Route 44 in Shinglehouse and used an unknown blunt instrument to cause damage to two separate mailboxes, valued at approximately $35 each.

The culprits then fled the scene. They were last observed traveling south on Post Hollow Road.

The mailboxes are owned by John M. Stilson, age 70, and Stephen M. Trupe, age 57, both of Shinglehouse.

Anyone with information pertaining to this incident is asked to contact PSP Coudersport at 814-274-8690.
