Man Arrested for Burglarizing VFW in Galeton, Alleged Co-conspirator Remains at Large
1 min readGALETON – State Police in Coudersport say they have arrested one man in connection to a burglary at the Galeton VFW. Another suspect in the crime has yet to be apprehended.
Charged is 49-year-old Raymond Legerlotz, of 4 Railroad Avenue, Galeton, PA.
Police say on August 8 Legerlotz and an unidentified accomplice forced entry into the VFW building, stole a cash register, and caused damage to a door and computer inside.
Legerlotz was arrested this morning by State Police and arraigned in front of District Judge Delores G. Bristol. Legerlotz was released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
Police say an arrest warrant for Legerlotz’ accomplice has been issued, but the unidentified male has yet to be located. Police say because of the nature of this investigation, details involving the alleged co-conspirator will be released after he has been apprehended.
