Man Arrested on Warrant from West Virginia

PIKE TWP. – A Pennsylvania man was arrested and jailed on an out-of-state warrant yesterday, January 16.
According to State Police, 36-year-old Jason M. Everette, of Cogan Station, PA, was pulled over on Route 6 after he was observed traveling East at a high rate of speed in his Ford F-250.
Police say the man provided a license identifying himself as Jason M. Everette. Upon investigation, police determined that Everette had an active warrant out of Monongalia County, WV, for Obtaining Money and Services by False Pretenses.
As a result, police took Everette into custody and lodged a criminal complaint and affidavit of probable cause under PA/JC Section 9134 – Arrest Prior to Requisition.
Everette was then arraigned in front of District Judge Annette L. Easton and committed to the Potter County jail without bail.
