Man Charged With Homicide in Accident That Killed PennDOT Worker

Donald Blocher, 42, of Salamanca, was arraigned and charged this morning in District Judge Rich Luther’s courtroom.
Blocher is being charged with Homicide by Vehicle While DUI, Aggravated Assault by Vehicle While DUI and violations of the Drug Act.
Police say Blocher was DUI when he failed to see PennDOT worker Jack Griffin, of Bradford, and James Burrows, of Eldred, in an active work zone, striking both men with his vehicle and killing Griffin. Burrows was severely injured.
Blocher was remanded to the McKean County Jail in lieu of $500,000 bail.
There is an error in the article. Mr. Jack Griffin
died as a result of the Accident. James Burrows
was injured but thankfully he is still with us.
