Man Charged with Kidnapping, Assault
1 min readPIKE TWP. – State Police say they have arrested and charged a man with kidnapping and other related offenses, following an incident at the Ox Yoke Campground in Pike Township.
Benjamin D. Heimbach, age 56, of Mifflinburgh, PA allegedly subjected a known 50-year-old woman to unwanted physical contact and physically restrained her from leaving a seasonal residence located at lot #11 at the Ox Yoke Campground on May 1.
Heimbach has been charged with felony kidnapping, unlawful restraint, terroristic threats, stalking, false imprisonment, simple assault and harassment.
He was arraigned in front of on-call District Judge Marvin K. Shrawder and released on $250,000 unsecured bail.
A case against Heimbach will be presented in District Judge Delores G. Bristol’s courtroom.
An investigation into the matter continues.
