Man Dies in Cameron County Crash

SINNAMAHONING – Chanacey Kleintob, 38, of Sweet Valley died as the result of a motor vehicle accident on Jerry Run Road in Sinnamahoning on Sunday afternoon.

Kleintob was operating an SUV with his wife and two daughters inside when he failed to negotiate a curve, struck an embankment, and then rolled over. The SUV came to rest on the driver’s side, pinning Kleintob’s upper body.

Kleintob’s wife and two children left the scene to seek medical help, and were later met by emergency personnel responding to the accident.

When emergency personnel arrived on the scene of the crash, they found that the SUV had been burned and was still smoldering. Kleintob was pronounced dead at the scene by Deputy Coroner William Pennington.

Kleintob’s wife suffered minor injuries and complained of back pain. One of Kleintob’s children also suffered minor injuries to the head.
